TEKS DESKRIPSI


A. Capaian Pembelajaran Elemen Menulis - Mempresentasikan

       Pada akhir Fase E, peserta didik menulis berbagai jenis teks fiksi dan non-fiksi, melalui aktivitas yang dipandu, menunjukkan kesadaran peserta didik terhadap tujuan dan target pembaca. Mereka membuat perencanaan, menulis, mengulas dan menulis ulang berbagai jenis tipe teks dengan menunjukkan strategi koreksi diri, termasuk tanda baca dan huruf besar. Mereka menyampaikan ide menggunakan kosakata dan kata kerja umum dalam tulisannya. Mereka menyajikan informasi menggunakan berbagai mode presentasi untuk menyesuaikan dengan pembaca/pemirsa dan untuk mencapai tujuan yang berbeda-beda, dalam bentuk cetak dan digital.

By the end of phase E, students write a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts, through guided activities, showing an awareness of purpose and audience. They plan, write, review and redraft a range of text types with some evidence of self- correction strategies, including punctuation and capitalization. They express ideas and use common/ daily vocabulary and verbs in their writing. They present information using different modes of presentation to suit different audiences and to achieve different purposes, in print and digital forms.


B. Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP)


  1. Menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks deskriptif pendek dan sederhana, terkait tempat wisata dan bangunan bersejarah terkenal, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
  1. Memperbandingkan teks deskriptif pendek dan sederhana, terkait tempat wisata dan bangunan bersejarah terkenal sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
  1. Menciptakan teks deskriptif pendek dan sederhana, terkait tempat wisata dan bangunan bersejarah terkenal, secara tulis dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan secara benar dan sesuai konteks.
  1. Menampilkan teks deskriptif pendek dan sederhana, terkait tempat wisata dan bangunan bersejarah terkenal, dengan cara membacakan teks deskriptif yang telah dibuat.

C. Materi Pembelajaran

  • Definition: A descriptive text describes a particular person, place or thing. 
  • Social Function: Its purpose is to describe a person, thing or place specifically. 
  • Generic structure:
  1. Identification. This part introduces where or who the subject is being described.
  2. Description. This part shows the details description of subject it may include the information about the appearance or qualities of the subject is being described.

  • Language features:
  1. Using Simple Present Tense, for example: The color of the wall is blue.
  2. Using Adjective, for example: old.
  3. Using Linking Verb, for examples: to be (am, is, are), appear, feel, grow, etc.

  • Subtopic: Tourism place or historical building

  • Example:
Hoya Beach 


Hoya Beach is one of the famous tourism objects found in Nias Island. It is located in the northern part of Gunungsitoli City, Nias Island, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. It is about 15 km from Gunungsitoli City. It takes about 25 minute from Gunungsitoli City to Hoya Beach.

Hoya Beach is famous as the twin of Kuta Beach. The beach line is about 1500 meters long with many beautiful pine trees along it. Moreover, Hoya Beach has sea with the clear water so that visitors can see about 8 meters underwater.

The visitors can reach Hoya Beach by using motorcycle or car. There are some facilitations available, such as the small huts for the visitors to relax and the food stalls that serve various delicious sea foods.
